Josh Gottheimer, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 5th district, has shared a series of tweets on March 31, 2025. The Congressman, who has held his position since 2017, expressed his commitment to addressing economic concerns affecting his constituents.

In one tweet, he pledged to communicate public opinions to key government figures, stating, "I’ll take these comments and send them to the White House and U.S. Trade Representative — and, if they’re smart, they’ll listen."

Furthermore, Gottheimer announced the launch of a new tool to enhance constituent engagement, with a post reading, "Lastly, I will never stop fighting to ensure your voice is heard in the halls of Congress. I’m launching a new online portal today where you can make your voice heard about how these tariffs are hurting you."

Gottheimer expressed concerns regarding the President's approach to national security in his final message, stating, "The President cannot use vague threats of national security to endanger the financial security of Jersey families."
