The “AmeriCorps New Jersey Watershed Ambassadors Program” is an AmeriCorps program administered by the DEP ’s Water Resource Management. Watershed and Source Water Protection Ambassadors serve throughout New Jersey as environmental stewards, serving with their local watershed communities to implement Best Management Practices (BMPs), Waterbody Clean Ups, Educational Presentations, Stream Assessments, and more!
