Rep. Josh Gottheimer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 5th district since 2017, has been actively engaging with his constituents through social media. His recent posts highlight key legislative efforts and express condolences for a community leader's passing.

On January 24, 2025, Gottheimer emphasized his commitment to reducing healthcare costs and modernizing infrastructure by advocating for the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. He stated, "I fought hard to pass the Inflation Reduction Act & Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to lower healthcare costs, modernize our infrastructure, and make life more affordable. These aren't partisan issues — they're common sense policies."

The following day, on January 25, Gottheimer expressed his sorrow upon learning about the death of Rabbi Moshe Herson. He noted Rabbi Herson's significant contributions as the regional director of Chabad-Lubavitch of New Jersey and extended his condolences with "I was so sorry to learn about Rabbi Moshe Herson’s passing. He led an exemplary life... May his memory be a blessing."

Later that day, Gottheimer criticized former President Trump's executive order concerning infrastructure funding rollbacks. He shared concerns about its impact on local projects in New Jersey stating, "I helped write, negotiate, and pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to fix Jersey’s roads and bridges... President Trump’s executive order to roll back this funding will only take us backward."
