On November 22, 2024, Rep. Gottheimer highlighted his concerns regarding Turkey's actions on an international level. He stated that "Turkey’s action to harbor senior Hamas members undermines NATO and Israel's security." To address this issue, he mentioned sending a bipartisan letter with colleagues including Rep. Dan Goldman, Rep. Gus Bilirakis, and Rep. Nicole Malliotakis to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines requesting a briefing on Turkey’s ties to Hamas.
Later that day, he turned his attention to local matters as New Jersey faced its first significant storm in three months. In his tweet at 22:54 UTC, he urged residents to stay safe during the storm which could bring up to 11 inches of snow in some areas. He expressed gratitude towards first responders and city employees for their efforts in ensuring public safety under these hazardous conditions "Thank you to the first responders and city employees who are working tirelessly..."
On November 23, 2024, Rep. Gottheimer praised the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) for their support during Thanksgiving. He tweeted about his appreciation for CFBNJ's efforts in providing meals to families across New Jersey: "I am incredibly grateful to the @CFBNJ for all they do..." This year alone, CFBNJ provided Thanksgiving meals to 4,000 families.
