Josh Gottheimer, currently serving as the U.S. Congressman for New Jersey's 5th District, has been actively sharing updates on various initiatives and concerns via social media. On February 21, 2025, he highlighted his commitment to ensuring safe air travel for families in New Jersey. He mentioned his role in drafting and passing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which allocated over $15 billion in federal investments for related projects. "Finally, I’ll continue fighting for critical federal funding to ensure that air travel is safe for Jersey families."

The following day, February 22, 2025, Gottheimer expressed his support for reversing a decision by the Trump Administration concerning staffing at the World Trade Center Health Program. He emphasized the program's importance for 137,000 first responders and survivors of the September 11 attacks. "I’m proud to join my colleagues in demanding the Trump Administration reverse its reckless decision to fire staff at the World Trade Center Health Program."

In another post on February 22, 2025, Gottheimer acknowledged a reversal of the aforementioned decision but criticized the initial action as unnecessary chaos. He reaffirmed his dedication to supporting first responders and ensuring they receive necessary care and support. "I’m glad to see the Administration has reversed course, but this chaos should have never happened."
