Everyone say to today's #FalconFriday Richie!
Richie received his bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in Pre-Law, currently, he is in the MBA program and will graduate this May. Richie was introduced to Felician through his sister, who is an alumnus. He was immediately attracted to the location of Felician and he was able to play on the Men's Lacrosse team.
Throughout his time at Felician, Richie has had no shortage of success in and outside the classroom. Richie was an incredible player on the Men's Lacrosse team, was elected Student Body President, and was given the opportunity of being the commencement speaker. He doesn't stop there! Richie recently became the youngest elected official and the First Mexican American ever elected in Clifton NJ. He will start his new position as a Commissioner on the Clifton Board of Education next month. Having the opportunities to speak to crowds as the Student Body President and on tv led him to an easier transition when he would be asked to interview on several news stations after his election win.
Richie has excelled at Felician and explains how he was prepared to succeed, "In many ways, Felician University has helped prepare me for a successful career, as student body president I was able to gain tons of leadership experience and enhance my critical thinking abilities as well which all led me to take the next jump". After he graduates with his MBA, Richie will continue to serve as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions here at Felician University while attending Law School. Where Richie hopes to specialize in educational policy and criminal defense. We are SO proud of all of Richie's accomplishments he has had thus far, and cannot wait to watch his success continue to grow!
