NJCF's ArtsBergen staff and colleagues had a great time at The SACK's return of SACKtoberfest in Downtown Hackensack.
On a beautiful day, they joined fall enthusiasts to celebrate Oktoberfest with three storytelling themed events. These included the Tile Mural Project, the last showing of the 'Stories on Main Docuseries', and the return of 'The Hacktivator' to entertain the crowd in Hackensack.
coLAB Arts worked with Hackensack-based mural artist, amrisaniranjan, to design a mural cut in a number of tiles to create Our Main St.
During National Arts & Humanities Month and Discover Jersey Arts Month, this was the perfect time to celebrate the arts introduce storytelling through creative placemaking with the public.
