Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling, in West Virginia v. EPA, seeking to limit the Federal government’s ability to affect fundamental change against the worst potential climate impacts, highlights the need for NJ to continue to lead our nation’s clean energy transition.
While working to reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions, under the leadership of Governor Phil Murphy, New Jersey continues to deploy its Climate Pollutant Reduction rules, while making investments necessary to grow a just and equitable green economy.
New Jersey is well positioned to do our part and we will work alongside our state and federal partners to tackle the climate crisis. It is our duty, as governments, individuals and a society, to come together to protect our future.
