Josh Gottheimer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 5th district since 2017, has recently shared his views on various pressing issues through social media. Born in Livingston, New Jersey, in 1975 and currently residing in Wyckoff, Gottheimer is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University.

On March 14, 2025, Gottheimer criticized President Trump's economic policies. He stated that "President Trump’s chaos is tanking the economy. The S&P 500 is down more than 10% because of his reckless trade war with our closest allies." He further expressed concern over the lack of a concrete plan to reduce costs, emphasizing that "hardworking Jersey families are paying the price."

The following day, March 15, 2025, he highlighted his efforts during Women's History Month to support bipartisan legislation for a commemorative coin honoring Rosie the Riveters. In his words: "This Women's History Month, I’m helping lead bipartisan legislation to create a commemorative coin recognizing Rosie the Riveters’ courage & sacrifice." He stressed the importance of remembering these trailblazing women who contributed significantly during World War II.

Later on March 15, Gottheimer addressed healthcare rights by stating: "No state should stand between a patient and their doctor. Jersey families rely on Medicaid for essential reproductive health care." He affirmed his stance with colleagues from @ReproCaucus urging the Supreme Court to uphold laws protecting reproductive rights against partisan attacks.
