Josh Gottheimer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 5th district since 2017, has recently shared several significant updates through his social media platform. Born in Livingston, New Jersey, and currently residing in Wyckoff, Gottheimer holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University.

On January 26, 2025, Gottheimer commemorated Bill Pascrell on what would have been his birthday. He described Pascrell as "a giant of a man" and "a fierce advocate for families, first responders, and our communities." Gottheimer emphasized that Pascrell's legacy continues to impact New Jersey positively. "Remembering Bill Pascrell on his first birthday without him. On January 27, 2025, he announced the reintroduction of the bipartisan HEAL Act on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The act aims to ensure that public schools educate children about the Holocaust to prevent history from repeating itself. "On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, I’m reintroducing my bipartisan HEAL Act to ensure we teach our children about the evils of the Holocaust in public schools."

Later that day, Gottheimer introduced new legislation called the Meat and Poultry Special Investigator Act.
