Villanova falls 12-9 to UNC Asheville in Division I baseball contest on March 20

Villanova Wildcats, featuring former Ramapo High School star Michael Whooley, were defeated 12-9 by the UNC Asheville Bulldogs in an NCAA Division I baseball game held Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m.

The contest took place at Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth and marked the Wildcats’ first game against the Bulldogs this season.

Whooley went two for four at the plate, scoring three runs and collecting one run batted in.

The Wildcats are set to play the Bulldogs once again on Saturday, March 21, at Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth.
