On February 10, Rep. Gottheimer highlighted his participation with New Jersey's congressional delegation and Governor Phil Murphy to address community priorities. He stated, "Last week, I joined Jersey's congressional delegation & @govmurphy to discuss ways to deliver key priorities for our communities." He further emphasized his commitment to restoring the SALT Deduction, opposing New York’s Congestion Tax, and protecting "Jersey Values."
Later that day, Rep. Gottheimer tweeted about national security as a member of the House Intelligence Committee Democrats. He announced his request for a classified briefing on DeepSeek, stating "I’ll do everything possible to stop our adversaries from stealing our families’ private, personal, and sensitive information."
On February 11, Rep. Gottheimer expressed concern over actions by Hamas in an international context. He noted "Once again, Hamas has violated the terms of the pause and is putting the lives of innocent hostages at risk." He called for the immediate release of all hostages held by Hamas.
