The FY23 New Jersey State budget passed with the arts receiving this support:

• $31.9 million to support the Arts support through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and

• $15 million – from the American Rescue Plan funds for the arts and creative placemaking to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority
