Rep. Josh Gottheimer, U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 5th district since 2017, highlighted support for local businesses and workers in a series of recent posts on his official Twitter account.
On May 5, Gottheimer promoted his proposed tax incentive by stating, “My “Jersey Pride” Tax Credit isn’t just about pride. It’s about backing our small businesses, spotlighting our 130+ miles of shore, lakes, shops, restaurants, and apparel brands — and putting Jersey front and center ahead of the World Cup.”
A day later, on May 6, he visited a local restaurant in Fair Lawn to recognize community business efforts. He wrote: “Thank you to Buffalo Wild Wings GO in Fair Lawn for having me! It was great spending time with the team and seeing firsthand what it takes to keep a business in our community running strong.
Our restaurant workers and businesses are the backbone of our economy. I’ll keep”
Also on May 6, Rep. Gottheimer acknowledged National Nurses Day by posting: “Today, we celebrate National Nurses Day and recognize the incredible dedication, compassion, and strength of nurses across Jersey.
