The Township of Mahwah announced on Mar. 18 that it will hold a public information session about the upcoming township-wide property revaluation and reassessment process at the start of its regularly scheduled council meeting.

The session aims to inform residents and property owners about the details of the revaluation program, including how inspections will be conducted, how properties will be valued, the expected timeline, and opportunities for questions. This information is important for residents who may have concerns or wish to understand how their property values could be affected.

The meeting is scheduled for March 23 at 7:00 PM at the Mahwah Township Municipal Building. For those unable to attend in person, the session will also be broadcast on the township’s public channels (33 FIOS/78 Optimum) and streamed on its website (www.mahwahtwp.org).

Representatives from both the township and Appraisal Systems, Inc. are expected to explain the process in detail and answer questions from attendees. The township encourages all property owners and interested residents to participate either by attending or watching online.

For those who cannot attend this session, future webinars are planned. Residents with questions can also email them in advance to Township Business Administrator Ben Kezmarsky at bkezmarsky@mahwahtwp.org.
