On Friday, March 21, former St. Joseph Regional High School standout Gabriel Alvarez’s current college team, the Longwood Lancers, won 17-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs.

The game took place at Greenwood Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Baseball Field against UNC Asheville Bulldogs.
