Carter Grande, an alumnus of St. Joseph Regional High School, participated in an NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, April 14, at 3 p.m., where his current team, the Fairfield Stags, was defeated 13-6 by the Columbia Lions.
The game was held at Don ’63 and Chris ’88 Cook Field. This contest marked their first meeting with the Lions this season.
Grande went 1-for-4 at the plate, tallied 2 RBIs, walked once, struck out twice, and stranded two runners.
The Stags are set to play their next game on Friday, April 17, at Don ’63 and Chris ’88 Cook Field against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
